About Us

The climate is friendly warm with a clear sky overcast for the better part of the year. However, the moths of April, may, June and July may be tolerably humid and cold. Annually, the average temperatures ranges between 25-28 degrees Celsius; a characteristic savanna country ambience! Very friendly for a learning and exploration experience.

Special Character

Our committed staff is proud of the wide range of programmes we offer to cater for our students. Academic success is the most important goal for all students at our school. We have a range of programmes designed to meet this objective.

The curriculum is designed to help every student reach his/her  individual potential and as a result, we have several pathways for students to succeed. Programmes include Integrated Programmes, Learning Assistance, Enrichment and study buddy programmes. The Learning Support Department works by consolidating the integrated programmes offered and the individualized study practiced that guarantees the art and science of checking and catering for individual differences.

Furthermore, Students are encouraged to participate in education outside the classroom too. A large range of sports are offered. This does not shadow the role of music and drama. All these play an important role in our school.

Raising student's self-esteem is an important component of our pastoral care. We have a very effective key-stage, year groups’ coordinators who work closely to support and advise staff, students and parents. In relation to this, Student Support Network has been developed. Peer mentors, mediators, home-room monitors and homeroom tutors go through a rigorous training programme which begins in Term 3 of each academic year subsequently continues to the preceding terms in earnest

Finally, it’s of interest to note that our Counselors provide confidential and professional support in matters of a personal, family or educational nature. They meet weekly with the Senior Leadership Team and the rest of the concerned staff members to discuss students' needs. In reference to this, It will be incongruent to bow without noting student successes. This is core in the motivation programme developed in the school; they are celebrated in assemblies and newsletters too. This is a tradition that goes back donkey years!
