Oshwal Academy Nairobi is not only an academic giant but also a sporting giant.  P.E lessons and swimming are compulsory for all students. The school is involved in three major leagues.

In September term the major sports have been Rounders and Cricket.

The following are the major achievements of this great institution in the current academic year so far :

  • National Champions in Boys and Girls Badminton
  • Overall 1st Position in the Roslyn Swimming gala
  • 2nd Position in Under 13 Rounders Premier School Tournament.
  • 2nd position in Under 15 Rouners IPSSA (International & Private Schools Sports Association) league.
  • 2nd Position in Under 15 cricket ISSAK ( International Secondary Schools Association of Kenya ) league
  • Participated in Junior World Chess Championship in Greece.
  • Participated in Under 19 African Junior Cricket Championship in Namibia
  • Participated in the Kenya Swimming Federation national Age Group gala in Mombasa.
  • 3rd overall in the inaugural Oshwal Athletics Invitational Championship.

At Oshwal Academy Junior High Nairobi every student is a winner. Inter house events provide a large number of students with the opportunity to participate.

Some of the inter house activities this term are:

  • Inter house Cycle Race
  • Inter house Swimming Gala
  • Inter house Rounders
  • Inter house Basketball
  • Inter house Volleyball

On 20th November,2010 a unique and important event took place. All the sportsmen and women who had represented the academy were honoured  in a colourful crermony that had been organized by the sports hub of Oshwal Education and Relief Board (OERB ).
